AMS and ELTA FANS Stand together for customers

AMS started trading late in 1994 with Duncan Burl at its helm, funding from the UK based Elta Group and the personal involvement of Ray Ball, chairman of the group. Since then, AMS has established itself as a major role player and trendsetter in the air movement industry.

By remaining focused on its core business of supplying fans for the domestic market and air conditioning and refrigeration industry and with the expertise and commitment of their staff, AMS gained the faith and trust of their UK principles to invest in building new headquarters for both AMS and Elta Fans in 2000 consisting of 24 offices, a state-of-the-art boardroom, an open plan reception area, a fully functional showroom and more than 2000m2 of warehouse and factory space.

By sharing the multi-million complex, AMS and Elta Fans created a "one-stop air movement shop" with the increased warehouse space and improvement in stock-carrying capacity to ensure greater customer service.

A great deal of planning and work study thought has gone into the conceptualization of the new complex. End-user lead time and product quality is of paramount importance and therefore this move has been planned to the nth degree.

Their innovative products e.g., the multi-flow variable pitch range, high temperature smoke spill fans, roof unit range to name a few are all locally manufactured or assembled on site thus limiting strategic issues.

A low-noise factory workspace has been facilitated through placing the grinding facility in a self-contained, external enclosure. In this day and age.

Derick Truscott, MD of AMS since 1998, states that people may come and go, but buildings will remain a monument to organizations and visionary management. "It has given our staff and customers the message that we are here to stay.

Our staff is our biggest asset and they also realize that without the customer there would be no AMS. We are committed to serve and every individual within the company adds value to the organization. Our customers have enabled us to grow, and we thank them for that. We shall never forget that our success lies in meeting the customer's needs."

The Multiflow TDE 500 to 710 range consist of fully cased, cylindrical models with circular mounting flanges at both ends and a wired terminal box.

The Mini Centrifugal Roof Fan series are the new type roof extract units available in 2 sizes and suitable for vertical and horizontal installation. The low noise external motor and high efficient backward bladed impeller meets the requirement of efficient ventilation in residential, commercial and light industrial applications.

Future 150

The Decor Series can be wall or ceiling mounted and is designed to exhaust stale and moist air from bathrooms, toilets, laundries etc. They are also suitable for ventilating all types of small or closed areas.

TD Silent

The Silent Series is a low profile mixed-flow in-line fan that produces low noise when in operation. It does this through a specifically designed perforated internal skin that directs sound waves produced inside the fan to a layer of sound absorbent material.

The low-profile TD-EVO 250 and 315 in-line mixed-flow fans for circular ducts have a unique design where the support bracket allows the motor and impeller assembly to be fitted or removed without dismantling the adjacent ducting.
