Features
|
- The exclusive design of the internal rotor motor, with the wrap around impeller hub, provides maximum performance with extra- slim depth which requires the minimum of space for installation.
- This characteristic, together with the special design of the frame or casing enables us to offer extremely light weight fans with slim profiles ensuring an extgremely highperformance.
- The COMPACT series is available in 3 different versions:
- wall mounting - cylindrical cased duct mounting - portable coolers |
Construction
|
- Wall mounted
- The mounting plate is formed from a sheet steel stamping except for the 710 model which has a mounting plate made from injection moulded plastic. The motor support is manufactured from steel rod and supplied with a steel wire finger proof guard.
- The terminal rod is fitted on the motor. The whole assembly is protected with a black polyester paint.
- In the standard version, the direction of flow is: motor to impeller (Form A).
|
Cased cylindrical duct mounted
|
- The casing is constructed from rolled steel plate and the motor support from steel rod electro-welded, both protected with a black polyester paint.
- Flange dimensions are to ISO 6580.
- The terminal box is fixed on the outer side of the casing. In the standard version, the direction of the flow is: impeller to motor (Form B).
|
Portable cooler
|
- The flanged tubular outer casing is laminated in steel plate.
- Motor support is of steel rod electro-welded.
- Tubular stand in cold formed steel tube.
- The casing incorporates a specially designed bell mouth and guards in steel mesh.
- The whole assembly is protected with black polyester paint.
- The terminal box is fitted on the outer side of the casing and is provided with a two-pole on/off switch.
- In standard version the direction of the flow is impeller to motor (Form B).
|
All the COMPACT fans are available with a die cast aluminium impeller
|
A comprehensive range of mounting accessories are also available for ease of installation. |
Motors
|
- Asynchronous induction motors with squirrel cage rotor in the cast aluminium in accordance with CEI 34-1. The rotor is dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 1940. The motor casing is constructed in die cast aluminium with cooling fins and finished with a black polyester paint:
- Supply voltages and frequencies
- 230V 50Hz single-phase (220V 50Hz for 2 pole motors) - 230/400V 50Hz three-phase (220-380V 50 Hz for 2 pole motors) - 400V 50Hz three-phase
- For single-phase units, the capacitor is enclosed within the terminal box.
- The wall version and cased version include 9 standard diameters from 250 to 710 mm and, depending on the model, are fitted with single-phase or three-phase motors in 2, 4, 6 or 8 poles. Volume flow ranging from 500 to 22400 m³/h. The portable version includes 3 standard diameters (315, 400 and 630 mm) and is supplied with a 4 pole motor.
- totally enclosed IP65- class F (working temp between -40°C to 70°C) - thermal overload protection incorporated in the winding with connections to the terminal box - suitable for speed control (except 2 pole motors and 4-pole 630 mm single phase models).
|
Impellers
|
- Made of injection moulded plastic reinforced with chemically anchored fibreglass.
- They are manufactured colour red UV stable and dynamically balanced to ISO 1940.
- The impeller of the 710 models is made in die cast aluminium. In standard versions the blade angle is 32° or 34° depending to the model.
- They can be provided with a low blade angle (21°).
