FAQ

Can a "whirlybird" be used on top of a braai?

No, it is not recommended as the high temperature will ruin the bearings.

Can I use ducting with the ceiling extract fans models CEH 200/250?

No - these are "free air" fans.  Any ducting will cause the fan to burn out

Can I use standard fans to draw out smoke from a chimney?

No - The maximum temperature the fan can handle is 60°C.

Can the fans "suck and blow"?

Certain domestic fans may be made to operate in reverse with the aid of a special controller.

This does produce less air.  Generally, most fans are made to either work as "suckers" OR "blowers".

Do the CEH 200/250 have ball bearing or bushes?

Both models have bearings which are greased for life.
